The Three Weeds Growing In Your Garden Right Now.
And why every self-improvement program you have ever tried has failed to remove them.
Dear Friend,
You have read the books.
You have listened to the podcasts. You have followed the gurus. You have journaled. You have set intentions. You have manifested. You have done the vision boards.
And here you are, still stuck on the same problems that were plaguing you five years ago. Ten years ago. Maybe twenty.
You are smart. You are motivated. You have the resources. And still, something keeps pulling you back into the same patterns.
There are three of them. I am going to name them for you.
Self-pity. The quiet story you tell yourself when nobody is listening. Life has been unfair. Others had advantages you did not. You are carrying more than most people know. Some of this is even true. But somewhere along the way, it stopped being an explanation and became a resting place.
Self-sabotage. The strange thing you do right when you are about to succeed. You get close to the promotion and pick a fight with your boss. You almost finish the manuscript and mysteriously cannot open the file for three weeks. You meet someone who could actually love you and find a reason to push them away. You have been doing this so long you barely notice it.
Self-doubt. The voice that sounds like reasonable caution. Who am I to try this. Somebody else is more qualified. I should probably wait until I know more. This voice has stopped you from starting the thing you were born to do. It has kept you invisible in rooms where you should have been leading.
These three patterns are not personality traits. They are not who you are.
They are weeds. And weeds can be pulled.
Here is what nobody in the self-improvement industry wants to tell you.
You cannot think your way out of these patterns. You have already tried. You have read the affirmations and used the sticky notes and downloaded the meditation apps and none of it has moved these three weeds.
That is because the weeds do not live in your conscious mind. They live in the part of you that runs everything you do not decide. The part that keeps your heart beating. The part that made you flinch when someone raised their voice yesterday. The part that has been quietly running the show since before you had words.
That part does not respond to sticky notes. That part responds to something much older. The tradition of guided work that predates modern therapy by centuries. The tradition of moving through metaphor into the layers of the mind where actual change lives.
I have built a 48-minute session that does exactly this.
It is called A Walk in the Garden. You walk into your own inner garden with me as a guide. You find the three weeds. You lift each one out, roots and all. You place them in a wheelbarrow and take them where they cannot come back from. And you plant something better in the soil that opens up.
I want to be clear with you about what this is not.
This is not a course. There is no workbook. There is no 30-day challenge. There are no video modules to work through. There is no community forum.
This is a single 48-minute experience. You put on headphones. You lie down. You listen. You do not have to concentrate. You do not have to remember anything. You do not have to try. The deeper part of your mind does the work, and by the end of the session, something has shifted that you will notice for weeks.
Who I am.
I am Dr. Harlan Kilstein. Doctorate in educational administration, post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard. My dissertation was the first experimental study demonstrating the therapeutic effectiveness of metaphor. I studied for eight years with the late Dr. David Dobson, a hypnotherapist Tony Robbins brought in to teach his trainers. I have been doing this work at a clinical level for decades.
I built A Walk In The The Garden because these three patterns are the ones I saw again and again in my own practice. Every client, every industry, every stage of life. Self-pity, self-sabotage, self-doubt. The rest of what people worked on was just the surface. These three were the roots.
Why $49.
I could charge $297 for this session and it would be worth it. I have charged more than that for shorter work in the past.
I am charging $49 because I want it in as many hands as possible. Because you are already on my list, which means you have been reading what I write for a while, and I trust you to actually use this if I put it in front of you at a price that does not require a decision.
$49 is an investment in your future. It is a book you would order on a whim from Amazon. It is nothing.
The change this session can produce is worth many multiples of that. But at $49, there is no reason not to try it.
No guarantee. And I want to tell you why.
The last time I offered a work like this — a dollar to try it — a number of people paid the dollar, downloaded the file within minutes, and immediately canceled the payment. Just enough time to grab the download.
I was honestly shocked. I had not expected people would rather commit small fraud than pay for something they thought was valuable enough to want in the first place.
So I cannot offer that anymore. And I cannot offer a refund on A Walk In The Garden either, for the same reason. This is a single-session product. Once you have listened, you have received exactly what I am selling. There is no way to give it back.
I am telling you this so you can make a clean decision. If $49 feels like too much to risk on a session you have not heard, do not buy it.
If you have been reading me for a while and you trust what I put out into the world, buy it. Listen tonight. Let the work do what the work does.
When to listen.
Find a quiet 48 minutes. Take off your shoes. Lie down or sit in a comfortable chair. Use headphones if you have them. Close your eyes. Press play.
That is it.
Do not eat during the session. Do not drive during the session. Do not multi-task during the session. This is the one thing you do for 40 minutes tonight.
What happens next.
For the next several weeks, you may notice small things you cannot fully explain.
You catch yourself starting a project and this time you finish it. You hear the self-pity voice and it does not have quite the same grip. You reach for something you would previously have talked yourself out of, and this time you just reach.
These are the weeds being gone. That is what it feels like when the roots come up.
Some people repeat the session monthly. Some people listen once and never again. Some people share it with the people they love because they cannot believe how different they feel and they want the same for the people around them.
You will figure out what is right for you.
The button.
Below this letter is a button. Click it. Enter your payment. Get the file. Listen tonight.
$49.
One time.
No refund.
Change that has been waiting a long time for you to make room for it.
I am glad you are on this list.
I have been writing to you for a while now. I know some of what you carry. I know what has been growing in your garden. I know you have been trying to fix it with the wrong tools.
Come do this with me.
You have been carrying these weeds long enough.
Harlan Kilstein, Ed.D.
P.S. If you are not sure whether the three weeds I described are actually your patterns, they are. Every person I have ever worked with has these three, in some proportion. The ones who deny it have them the worst.
P.P.S. $49. Forty eight minutes. Tonight. Do it.
